I wanted to offer a little satin bag to my lovely clients who purchase my lingerie online. The pouch needed to be big enough to fit my slips, robes and teddies. To find the perfect size and design, I started making a few drawstring pouches with pieces of fabrics I had in my studio, some in satin and some in organza. But there was something I didn’t like about the drawstring, it was somewhat unpractical. So I decided the bag would look better with a flap tied with a nice satin bow. Having come up with the correct measurements and a nice design for the bags, I then went onto my atelier to get a few samples in different colours of fabrics. I settled for a cream colour with a gold logo as it goes with most colours of lingerie and a slightly thiner satin bow as I think it looks classier. And the idea is that you will keep this little bag with you and use it to take your lingerie when you travel. I hope it will be your perfect little travel companion on many sunny holidays and romantic weekends!
